Oregon WR Tez Johnson’s Injury Not Expected to be Season-Ending

Oregon WR Tez Johnson suffered a shoulder injury against Michigan last week, but ESPN’s Pete Thamel is reporting that it is not expected to be season-ending, which is great news for the Ducks. The injury should not require surgery, and Johnson should be back before the season ends.

Johnson is a big part of the Ducks’ offense, as he is tied for 5th nationally with 64 total catches. He is also tied for second in the Big Ten with 8 receiving TDs and leads the Oregon offense with 649 receiving yards, a number which is also good for 4th in the Big Ten. More impressive, those numbers only include 2 snaps played in the most recent game against Michigan.

As for the extent and severity of his injury, that is unknown at the moment, but to know he could possibly be back for a playoff run is crucial for a #1 Oregon team that has no more ranked matchups prior to a potential Conference Championship game appearance.

Texas A&M RB Le’Veon Moss Out for Season

Texas A&M RB Le’Veon Moss is out for the remainder of the 2024 season after he took a hit to his right leg that required being carted off the field.

Coach Mike Elko opened yesterday in his press conference by saying, “on the injury front, just so you guys are aware, Le’Veon will be out for the year. So that’ll be something that we’ll deal with.”

Moss is the leading rusher on the season for the Aggies, who have been dealing with depth issues at the position all season after losing Rueben Owens before the season even started. Amari Daniels and EJ Smith are next on the depth chart, though, they’ve each combined for fewer than 130 carries on the season. QB Marcel Reed will also likely contribute to the rushing game as a dual-threat quarterback.

2026 4-Star TE Xavier Tiller Commits to Texas A&M

Consensus 4-star 2026 TE Xavier Tiller committed to Texas A&M yesterday over Alabama, Georgia, Louisville, Auburn, and others.

Tiller shared earlier in the season to On3’s Chad Simmons that he was looking for a program that utilizes tight ends and has a coaching staff that he has a good relationship with. Evidently, Texas A&M checks both of those boxes for Tiller.

Tiller ranks as high as 2nd at the TE position in the 2026 class according to ESPN, with 247 ranking him the 47th best player in his class. According to the On3 industry composite, however, Tiller ranks 87th nationally and 4th at his position.

This is Texas A&M’s 6th 4-star in the 2026 class and 8th commitment overall for a 2026 class which already ranks 2nd nationally and 1st in the SEC early on in the process.

Nebraska QB Dylan Raiola Injury Update: Looking Good for Future

ESPN’s Pete Thamel is reporting that Nebraska’s QB, Dylan Raiola, is expected to be good to go when the Huskers take the field next against USC after a bye week this upcoming weekend.

Raiola took a big hit in the 4th quarter in the loss against UCLA, and grabbed his lower back after the hit. Raiola tried to come back in for the rest of the game, but had to pull himself out after playing briefly.

From the sounds of it, though, whatever the injury is should be cleared up in time for November 16th when Nebraska hopes to snap a 3-game losing streak and reach bowl eligibility for the first time in 8 years.

Billy Napier Believes Florida Is Improving

Florida’s Billy Napier is on one of the warmest hot seats of all-time, but he is optimistic of the trajectory of the Gators program despite missing out on victories over 3 ranked matchups they were very much in against Texas A&M, Tennessee, and Georgia, respectively.

Napier shared with reporters, “we all want things faster, right? I mean, I think we all – I think life and football is no different. It tests our patience, but I do think given the dynamic – I just like this team I would say. I like what I have observed from this team since the first open date. Obviously we were very disappointed in how we started this year, but I think just a group of players – I have a ton of respect for the group of players. The body of work since the open date I think as a whole I’ve been pleased with that, and I think the mindset, the competitive spirit, the improvement, the football improvement, I think the tape speaks for itself.”

Miami CB Jadais Richard “Hurt Significantly” According to Coach Cristobal

Miami’s Mario Cristobal recently shared that Miami CB Jadais Richard was hurt fairly badly after an interception return against Duke.

Coach Cristobal shared, “he got hurt. I like kind of circling up with everybody with the family and his people before just publicly talking about it. I think we owe him that respect, but he was hurt significantly.”

So, the exact severity of the injury and timetable for his injury is unknown.

Richard has started the past 5 games for the Hurricanes, while also picking up a total of 27 tackles, 2 passes defended, a forced fumble, and an interception on the season.

4-Star S Rasean Dinkins Flips from Georgia Tech to Georgia

4-Star S Rasean Dinkins flipped his commitment from Georgia Tech to Georgia yesterday after getting an offer from the Bulldogs in September.

After Dinkins saw the atmosphere at a Georgia game during his visit to the Mississippi State game, he realized that the atmosphere is just different and he wanted to be a part of it.

Dinkins is ranked highest by 247, which ranks him 219th nationally and 20th for his position. According to the On3 industry composite, though, Dinkins ranks 346th nationally and 33rd at his position.

This is Georgia’s 20th Blue Chip commitment and 24th commitment overall for the 2025 class, a class which ranks 4th nationally and 3rd in the SEC behind only Alabama and LSU.

Georgia Tech’s class is now down to 6 4-star players and 21 commitments overall for a class which ranks 22nd nationally and 3rd in the ACC, still.

3-Star S Tywan Cox Flips from USF to Illinois

3-star S Tywan Cox flipped his commitment from USF to Illinois after originally committing to USF back in July.

Cox recently took an official visit to Champaign, and shortly thereafter announced he was flipping.

He is ranked as high as the 54th ranked safety in the 2025 class according to Rivals, with the On3 industry composite ranking him 779th nationally and 66th at the safety position.

Illinois is now up to 17 commitments in the class of 2025 for a class which ranks 53rd nationally and 15th of 18 in the Big Ten. USF is now down to 24 commitments for a class which is still tops in the AAC and is ranked 66th nationally.

LB Transfer Bangally Kamara Commits to Kansas

South Carolina transfer LB Bangally Kamara announced yesterday that he had committed to Kansas.

Kamara announced he would be redshirting for the rest of the 2024 season and entering the transfer portal. Kamara played in 4 games this season after transferring in to South Carolina from Pitt.

In 2023, he finished with 55 tackles, 6.5 TFLs, and 2 sacks for Pitt. He also has 129 tackles, 13 TFLs, 5 sacks, 1 INT, 1 fumble forced, 1 fumble recovered, and 8 passes defended in his 52 games played over 5 seasons in college.

Kamara has one year of eligibility left with Kansas after redshirting this year and his 2020 season not counting towards his eligibility.
