Penn State Hiring Former Temple HC Stan Drayton as RBs Coach
Penn State is set to hire former Temple Head Coach Stan Drayton to its opening at RBs Coach.
Coach Drayton was widely seen as one of the top RBs coaches before accepting the head job at Temple.
Coach Drayton was most recently an assistant with Coach Tom Herman and Texas from 2017 to 2021 where he coached names like Bijan Robinson, Roschon Johnson, and Keontay Ingram. He was also on the staff with Ohio State for the 2014 National Championship, as well as being one of the main recruiters that brought Tim Tebow to Florida and Bijan Robinson to Texas.
In Penn State, Coach Drayton is taking over the mantle of a running backs room that includes Kaytron Allen and Nick Singleton, who combined for 2,207 rushing yards in 2024.
Georgia Analyst Andrew Thacker Promoted to Nickels Coach
CBS Sports/247Sports’ Matt Zenitz is reporting that Georgia is promoting Andrew Thacker from an analyst role to a more permanent role as Nickels coach.
Coach Thacker is a fairly experienced coach, as he has experience serving as a defensive coordinator for Georgia Tech.
Coach Thacker might have been able to move up somewhere else, but he decided to stick it out in Athens, and now he gets a promotion to have his own position room.

Former Texas WR Johntay Cook was arrested a little over a week ago, and has once again found himself in trouble with the law.
According to arrest records in Grayson County, TX, Cook was booked for marijuana possession of less than two ounces. This comes following his arrest for a pair of misdemeanors with theft, as well as interfering with public duties.
Cook is a former five-star recruit who spent two seasons with the Longhorns before committing to Washington out of the transfer portal. But after just two weeks, Cook and the Huskies parted ways, and Cook has been looking for another program ever since.

Top 2027 WR Ethan “Boobie” Feaster reclassified from 2027 to 2026 in a decision that is sure to shake up the player rankings and program recruiting priorities for the 2026 class some.
Feaster was the top rated TX prospect and #4 overall prospect in 2027, albeit with very few 2027 prospects rated relative to the 2026 class, as of now.
“I saw Ryan Williams (Alabama WR) do it. That was the biggest thing. I felt like I can do it. I felt like I was ready for college.”
In his first two seasons, at one of the top high school football programs in the country (DeSoto), Feaster had 32 catches for 634 yards and 9 touchdowns, followed by 57 catches for 824 yards and 13 touchdowns. So before his junior season, against some of the best competition in one of the most competitive football states in the country, Feaster already has a high school career stat line of 89 catches for 1,458 yards, and 22 touchdowns.
As of now, the programs Feaster is looking the hardest at are Oklahoma, Oregon, SMU, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, and USC.
Feaster is a 5-star according to Rivals, who ranks him 15th nationally and 3rd at the WR position.
According to the On3 industry composite, now for 2026, Feaster ranks 91st nationally and 17th at the WR position.

Toodle shared: “all these schools have kept in contact with me. And they’ve all came down to visit me – some in-house and some at school – even some of the coaches came to my games. They all stayed in touch with me throughout my commitment to Auburn which was very important. And I just want to be absolutely certain when choosing college for the next 3 to 4 years.”
Toodle also spoke on Auburn, sharing, “I feel strong about my commitment to Auburn. That’s the reason I’m still committed to Auburn. The relationships I’ve built with the coaches and with the team, it’s felt like home every time I’ve been on campus. And I’ve been up on The Plains a lot.”
Toodle ranks highest by Rivals, who ranks him 66th nationally. The On3 industry composite ranks him 92nd nationally and 6th at the LB position, though.
