Tulsa Expected to Fire HC Kevin Wilson
Tulsa’s Kevin Wilson is expected to be fired following its 63-30 loss to USF.
This was Wilson’s 2nd season at the helm of the Tulsa program as the Golden Hurricane are 7-16 overall and 3-12 in conference play.
Prior to being the Head Coach at Tulsa, Wilson spent 6 seasons with Ohio State as its Offensive Coordinator and TEs Coach. And before that, Wilson was with Indiana as its head coach for 6 years, getting to consecutive bowl games in his final 2 seasons before resigning while being under investigation for player mistreatment. He was 26-47 with the Hoosiers, but was 25-36 when removing the first season.
WRs Coach and Recruiting Coordinator Ryan Switzer has accepted the interim title for the final game when Tulsa hosts FAU.
Texas QB Quinn Ewers Injury Update: Expected to Play Against Texas A&M
Texas QB Quinn Ewers is expected to play against Texas A&M according to Anwar Richardson, one of the most in-the-know Texas Longhorns journalists.
Reports emerged, also from Richardson, that Ewers was dealing with an ankle sprain that Ewers was undergoing an MRI for.
Ewers was able to finish the game despite the tenderness he felt in his ankle, talking to reporters about the hip-drop tackle that caused the injury: “It’s just a little tender. Just gonna do as much treatment as I can. It was around the 50-yard line and I stepped up and kind of took off running a little bit and then kind of got hip-drop tackled. And I think he kind of just rolled up on it a little, but it’s football and stuff like that happens.”
Ole Miss’ Lane Kiffin on the Bubble of the CFP: “Third Loss Doesn’t Get You There”
Ole Miss and Lane Kiffin took its third loss of the season in a 24-17 game against Florida.
Coach Kiffin and the Rebels know what this means for their playoff chances, as Coach Kiffin shared, “this is the new age setup. You know, when, kind of, there’s the playoff line. You kind of know where that is a little bit. Third loss doesn’t get you there. So, it’s just a different world. … Almost NFL-ish, you know. When you get knocked out of the playoffs, you’ve still got a game to play. Obviously, this is an important game. But we’ll get (to) that tomorrow.”
Coach Kiffin knows that the best Ole Miss can do is get to 9-3 against an unranked Mississippi State team that hasn’t won a single game in SEC-play yet and has nothing more to lose.
If the AP Poll is any indication, Ole Miss is now almost definitely on the outside looking in and needs maximum chaos at the top to even have a chance as a 3-loss team.
Big 12 Conference Championship Outcomes
The Big 12 Championship race has been one giant cluster, to put it lightly.
With just one week to go, with 4 teams at 6-2 and 5 teams at 5-3, there’s so many possible outcomes. Below are all of the scenarios that can happen, with Arizona State and Iowa State in the best situation:
Two Teams Tied at 7-2: Those two teams will compete in the Big 12 Championship.
All Four Teams Still Tied at 7-2: Arizona State v. Iowa State
Three Teams Tied at 7-2:
Colorado Loses: Arizona State v. Iowa State
Arizona State Loses: Iowa State v. BYU
Iowa State Loses: Arizona State v. BYU
BYU Loses, Texas Tech Beats West Virginia, Baylor Beats Kansas, AND Cincinnati Beats TCU: Colorado v. Iowa State
BYU Loses AND West Virginia Beats Texas Tech: Arizona State v. Iowa State
Everything Else: Colorado v. Arizona State

Making history. 🐝

Consensus 4-star S Tae Harris flipped his commitment recently from Clemson to Georgia Tech.
Harris originally flipped from Georgia to Clemson back in March, but now he flips back to an in-state school, this time Georgia Tech. Harris is particularly excited about Coach Key and the rest of the staff as Harris believes they have Georgia Tech headed in the right direction.
Harris ranks 53rd nationally and 3rd at the safety position according to the On3 industry composite rankings.
This is Georgia Tech’s 7th 4-star commitment and 22nd commitment overall for a class which now ranks 19th nationally and 3rd in the ACC, just narrowly behind Clemson.
4-Star QB Carter Smith Commits to Wisconsin
Let’s Work!🦡

4-Star QB Carter Smith committed to Wisconsin after previously having been committed to Michigan.
Smith recently took an official visit to Wisconsin for the game against Oregon, an official visit which evidently left a good impression on Smith and his family. Smith’s dad was very complimentary of the Wisconsin staff, saying that he “can’t say enough about them.”
Smith ranks in the Top 100 according to Rivals, but is a little lower down the 247 rankings where he is rated as a high 3-star. According to the On3 industry composite, Smith ranks 203rd nationally and 15th at the QB position.
With Smith’s commitment, Wisconsin now has 6 4-star commitments and 24 commitments overall for a 2025 class which ranks 24th nationally and 8th in the Big Ten.
4-Star DL Joseph Mbatchou Commits to Texas
4-Star DL Joseph Mbatchou commits to Texas over Auburn and USC.

Consensus 4-Star DL Joseph Mbatchou committed to Texas yesterday following his decommitment from Florida in late October.
Mbatchou recently spoke with On3 on what separates Texas, saying that it’s the people that make the program special, and that he believes fully in Coach Sarkisian and Coach Kenny Baker.
Mbatchou is a low to medium rated 4-star on every recruiting site, ranking 257th nationally and 22nd at the DL position according to the On3 industry composite.
For Texas, this is the 17th Blue Chip commitment and 24th commitment overall for a 2025 class that ranks 4th nationally and 3rd in the SEC behind only Georgia and Alabama.
2026 4-Star WR Dequane Prevo Commits to Arkansas
All blessings glad to be a HOG! #gohogs woo pigs!!!!!!

2026 4-star WR Dequane Prevo committed to Arkansas yesterday over Texas, Oklahoma, and Penn State, among others.
For Prevo, he shared that he’s known Coach Sam Pittman for awhile, and his relationship with Coach Pittman was what was crucial for Arkansas to land his commitment.
Prevo also shared that WRs Coach Ronnie Fouch was a big part of his recruitment and is the sort of guy that he wants to play for. Prevo was impressed with the plan for him to see the field in Coach Fouch’s and Coach Pittman’s offense.
247 is the only recruiting service to rate Prevo a 3-star, tabbing him a high 3-star. All other sites have him as a 4-star. The On3 industry composite ranks Prevo 205th nationally and 36th at the WR position.
This is Arkansas’ 2nd 4-star commitment for the 2026 class and 7th commitment overall for a 2026 class which is currently ranked 15th nationally and 9th in the SEC, though, it is still very early in the 2026 recruiting cycle.
