Mike Norvell: “Very Confident” In Florida State’s Preparation for Week 0 in Dublin

Florida State is taking on Georgia Tech in Week 0 in Dublin, Ireland on August 24th, and coach Mike Norvell believes that Florida State is ready for the logistical challenges that come with playing ‘across the pond.’

Norvell described it as a process that took “probably a year and a half … to prepare everything.”

Norvell said that the staff has taken multiple trips to make sure everything is ready to go and that the entire staff is putting the players in the best position possible to succeed, and that’s he very confident in a smooth transition for a game so far away.

4-Star CB Ben Hanks Jr. Commits to Florida

4-Star CB Ben Hanks Jr. committed to Florida yesterday over Miami, Georgia, Louisville, and others.

For Hanks, his relationships with a couple of the coaches, namely Billy Napier and Will Harris, were hugely important for Hanks’ commitment to the Gators.

Hanks is ranked as high as the 72nd ranked prospect and 10th ranked CB for the 2025 class according to On3. According to the On3 industry composite, Hanks is ranked as the 102nd ranked prospect nationally and 11th ranked player at his position.

Arkansas’ Sam Pittman Expresses Concern for QB Taylen Green

Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman recently shared that Boise State transfer Taylen Green was not as accurate in the most recent scrimmage as Pittman was hoping or as Green had been in past practices and scrimmages.

Pittman did acknowledge that the protection from the offensive line was not as good, either, which likely has something to do with his accuracy concerns.

One player and position group who played well according to Pittman was DE Landon Jackson and the entire defensive line, who evidently gave Green and the rest of the offense problems.

Clemson QB Cade Klubnik Shares Biggest Change in Offense

Clemson QB Cade Klubnik is going into his second season as the full-time starter for the Tigers, and he recently shared what has changed the most since last season.

And for Klubnik, the biggest difference is the mindset and experience. Last season, Klubnik pointed out the youth and inexperience on the team, especially on the offense, but almost 80% of last season’s offensive production returns for Clemson.

RB Phil Mafah, WR Tyler Brown, and TE Jake Briningstool all headline as top returning options, as well as QB Cade Klubnik, obviously.

Ejiawoko said he was impressed with the facilities and had a lot of fun spending the day with the coaching staff. And now, within a month he is committed to be a Red Raider.

The On3 industry composite ranks Ejiawoko as the 397th ranked prospect nationally and the 31st ranked LB in the 2026 class.
