Texas & Texas A&M Wednesday Injury Report: Ewers Probable for Longhorns

Texas and Texas A&M revive its rivalry this weekend with a matchup in College Station. Wednesday’s injury report was released with Texas QB Quinn Ewers being the name of note for fans.

Looking at the report, Ewers is listed as probable, with the only other players on the report for Texas being the 4 names who have been on there for most, if not all, of the season (DB Derek Williams Jr., and RBs CJ Baxter, Christian Clark, and Velton Gardner).

For Texas A&M, the same 4 players listed as out are still out (WR Cyrus Allen, DB Tyreek Chappell, RB Le’Veon Moss, and OL Mark Nabou Jr.). There are five players listed as questionable for the Aggies: RB Rueben Owens, DB Jaydon Hill, QB Jaylen Henderson, DB Will Lee III, and OL Chase Bisontis.

Arizona State Coach Kenny Dillingham Wishing RB Cam Skattebo Got Heisman Love

Arizona State’s Kenny Dillingham was recently on SportsCenter and he took the time to advocate for his do-it-all running back, Cam Skattebo, to be getting more love nationally in the Heisman conversation.

Skattebo is averaging over 122 rushing yards per game while also adding almost 500 receiving yards and 16 total touchdowns.

These stats place him towards the top of the country for running backs for each of these stats. Skattebo is also a key piece for a team that is 9-2 and the highest ranked team in the Big 12 after entering the season in last in the conference’s preseason poll.

Of Skattebo, Coach Dillingham said, “Skattebo should 100% be getting some Heisman love.” Currently, Skattebo is not listed on any of the major sportsbooks as a betting option.

Clemson’s Dabo Swinney Optimistic on the Upcoming Changes to NIL and Revenue Sharing

Clemson’s Dabo Swinney recently opened up in where he sees the Tigers program coming up as the world of college sports evolves in the post-House world.

Of the new system, Coach Swinney shared, “the NIL is gonna be different come July. It’s gonna have to meet a standard. Right now, there’s no standard. … NIL will still be there and it can still be there and it can stack on top of the rev share, but it has to meet a standard. And if it doesn’t meet a standard, then you’re going to be penalized and they’re going to take money from your rev share.”

As for the revenue sharing, Coach Swinney said, “ain’t nobody gonna have more money than Clemson. Nobody. For the first time ever. So, that’ll be good. That’ll be good.”

Ole Miss Injury Report Ahead of the Egg Bowl

The Ole Miss and Mississippi State Wednesday injury reports were recently released, with some key names for the Rebels on the injury report (as per usual).

For Mississippi State, there are no players listed aside from the eight who are listed as out.

For Ole Miss, the three players listed as out who have been out for some time are still listed as out.

As for some key players, EDGE Princely Umanmielen is listed as probable, while WR Tre Harris is listed as questionable. Also questionable is RB Logan Diggs and WR Izaiah Hartrup. As for the other probable Rebels, that list includes TE Dae’Quan Wright, WR Jordan Watkins, and OL Reece McIntyre.

2026 4-Star QB Peyton Falzone Decommits from Virginia Tech

2026 consensus 4-Star QB Peyton Falzone decommitted from Virginia Tech yesterday, he announced on social media.

In the past month, Falzone has visited both Ohio State and Penn State, including this past weekend when Falzone saw Ohio State take down Indiana.

Falzone is a consensus 4-star who is ranked 181st nationally and 15th at the QB position for the 2026 class.

With Falzone’s decommitment, Virginia Tech lost its one commitment for the 2026 class, but there is still plenty of time for the Hokies.
