QB Play Will Determine Missouri’s Season

An anonymous opposing coach shared with Lindy’s that he believes Missouri’s ability to repeat the success it experienced last season will largely fall on the right shoulder of QB Brady Cook.

“They put a lot of pressure on defenses because of [Cook]. If he rolls the same way, they can do the same thing. They don’t have the same talented roster of Alabama, Georgia, A&M, or Texas … [b]ut they can still be very good.”

The coach also noted the loss of Cory Schrader will impact the offense a lot given his toughness and relentlessness, but that Luther Burden returning will still be a hugely important talent and difference maker.
