Eddie George Agrees to Become Next Bowling Green Coach
According to the Toledo Blade, Tennessee State Coach Eddie George has agreed in principle to become the next Head Coach of Bowling Green.
On Friday, Bowling Green reportedly interviewed three finalists – UMass OC Mike Bajakian, Oklahoma State QBs Coach Kevin Johns, and Eddie George. Coach George was offered the job the following day, agreeing to the offer the next day, Sunday.
Coach George was 24-22 in his three seasons with Tennessee State, but his tenure also involved the Tigers’ first conference championship since 1999. For the team’s effort, he was OVC-Big South Coach of the Year in 2024.

Consensus 4-star WR Connor Salmin committed to Clemson yesterday over offers from Penn State, Notre Dame, and others.
This is the 2nd 4-star WR in as many days for the Tigers, as Naeem Burroughs also joined Clemson’s 2026 class. Salmin finished his junior season in high school with over 1,100 yards and 16 touchdowns on 53 catches across 10 games. He also ran a blistering 10.44 in the 100-meter dash, with a 21.18 in the 200.
Salmin ranks as high as 120th nationally (ESPN) and 19th at the WR position (247). The On3 industry composite places him 164th nationally and 27th at the WR position.
Clemson’s 2026 class is shaping up nicely, with 5 Blue Chip commitments and 9 total commitments for a 2026 class which currently sits at 9th nationally and 1st in the ACC.

4-star OL Grant Wise committed to Clemson recently, deciding on the Tigers over the rest of his Top 5 of Alabama, Oregon, Miami, and Tennessee.
Wise, as well as others, were visiting Clemson this weekend, and he shared, “the visit was awesome. … I made the best decision of my life last night. I’m ALL IN with the Clemson Tigers.”
Wise is rated a 4-star by both ESPN and Rivals, ranking as high as 79th nationally (Rivals). The On3 industry composite is more modest, ranking him 250th nationally and 18th at the IOL position.
As mentioned above, Clemson currently has 9 commitments for the 2026 class, a class which ranks 9th nationally and 1st in the ACC.

3-star S Ksani Jiles committed to Washington yesterday over Notre Dame, USC, Oregon, and others.
Jiles had previously spent time committed to Miami, but not he wants to lock it in with a program about as far from Miami as one can get in the continental United States.
Jiles shared with On3’s Chad Simmons, “the relationships I have built at UW is unmatched and I really love this place… it feels like home.”
Jiles is a 3-star everywhere except for Rivals, who rates him a 4-star. He ranks highest on Rivals (obviously), ranking 158th nationally and 3rd at his position designation. According to the On3 industry composite, he ranks 492nd nationally and 44th at the S position.

3-star DL David Jackson committed to North Carolina yesterday over offers from Miami, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, and others.
Before committing to the Tar Heels, he set official visits with Virginia Tech (May 30), USF (June 13), and UNC (June 20).
He recently took a visit to UNC where he shared with 247Sports’ Brian Dohn what it was like: “we walked around, got to see the whole campus, talked to Bill for a minute. We went over the position and the depth chart with the DL Coach and saw where he was going to put me, what he was going to do with me. … The campus is very bright, like has energy. The people are good. … I feel like the energy around the campus is good. It’s vibin’.
David Jackson is rated an 86 on 247Sports, which is good for 87th at the DL position.
For North Carolina, the 2026 class is starting to take some sort of shape, as the Tar Heels currently have 7 total commitments for a class which ranks 40th nationally and 9th in the ACC.
5-Star EDGE Rodney Dunham Names Top 5 Programs

5-Star EDGE Rodney Dunham shared with On3’s Hayes Fawcett that he is down to a Top 5 program list of Duke, Notre Dame, Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina.
South Carolina and Tennessee have had him on campus several times, with the expectation he will visit Georgia this spring, as well, based on quotes he shared with On3’s Steve Wiltfong. Notre Dame is also a major contender and a program working to get him on campus for a spring visit.
Dunham is a consensus 4-star across every service, but is a 5-star on the On3 industry composite. On3 ranks him the highest, at 7th nationally. According to the On3 industry composite, Dunham ranks 19th nationally and 3rd at the EDGE position.
